Controller

What we collect and why

Account email (to create and manage your account, via Supabase Auth).
Reference photos and videos you upload, and the videos generated from them (stored on Cloudflare R2 to provide the service to you).
Generation history (linked to your account, so you can review your past videos).
Purchase records (credits bought, via Stripe, to deliver what you paid for).
Error reports (sent to Sentry when something fails, so we can fix bugs). These contain no cookies and no browsing profile.

Lawful basis

We process your data under the contract (to deliver the service and process your payments) and under our legitimate interest (keeping the service working through error monitoring).

Artificial intelligence and biometric data

Turbodance uses artificial intelligence to generate characters and videos from the content you upload. Your uploaded photos and videos, and the videos generated from them, are processed by AI to deliver the service.

If you use the face reference feature, we process your facial image. Facial geometry is biometric data, a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR. We process it only with your explicit consent, solely to apply a likeness to the characters in your own video, and it is deleted when you delete your account. We do not use your face to train any model.

Generated videos are produced by AI and are not real recordings of the people or scenes they appear to depict. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any likeness you reference.

Third parties we share data with

Supabase (authentication and database hosting).
Cloudflare (website hosting, content delivery, and media storage on R2).
Stripe (payment processing). Stripe processes your card data under its own terms; we receive only a confirmation and a reference, never your card number.
Resend (transactional emails, such as your access confirmation).

Retention

Your uploads, generated videos, and generation history are kept for the life of your account and deleted when you delete your account (Settings, Delete Account; completed within 30 days). Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

International transfers

Some providers (Cloudflare, Stripe, Supabase) are based outside the European Union. Appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, are in place where applicable.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your data, and you can object to it. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés).

Cookies and trackers

This site does not use non-essential cookies or trackers. The fonts are self-hosted (no third-party font service is contacted). Sentry is configured for error reporting only: it sets no cookie and records no profile of your browsing. Because nothing requires your consent, there is no consent banner.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Updates

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with their date.
